Botero is known for making nice cutesy paintings–they are widely reproduced as posters acceptable in non-challenging places such as offices. Something tells me his latest series of paintings won’t be at the dentist next visit.
The new works are currently in Italy and are making a tour to other museums, but I haven’t seen anything scheduled for the U.S. yet…

Cruise ship docked in the river. I believe FEMA stays on one of these two ships. Apparently they are up there eating lobster and gambling in the casino. Folks are working on getting photos of that…
